I’m in Bangladesh this week with The Hunger Project… meeting some of the inspirational women that The Hunger Project have helped over the years… which with our donations, all of us at Shift have contributed to.
It’s not one of those trips where we go over just to see how our funding has been able to help… it’s going to be a life changing experience for me and all the guys on the trip.
We’re going to be learning from these amazingly brave and inspiring ladies how they have managed to make their difference in their communities… overcoming some incredibly difficult challenges.
So, as we wouldn’t be able to help these ladies without you, I so excited to share my journey with you in this video diary of my trip.
I invite you to grab a coffee, sit back and enjoy this journey… it could literally change your life… just like we as a community have changed theirs.
The videos will appear in ascending chronological order, so this page will be updated as often as I am able… don’t forget to keep checking back here for updates.
Much love
Jo

If you are not familiar with the work of The Hunger Project, please take a few minutes to watch this extremely powerful video.
THP make a huge difference to the lives of all the women they work with… empowering them to make their own difference too.
Our lives are so blessed and Greg and I are committed to to helping as much as we can.
Hi Joanna,
Such a wonderful project and the videos have really touched me, especially the Ist one.
I have made a donation, not the $500 you are asking but what I could do.
It will all help.
Keep empowering xx
Thanks so much Trish, I’m touched that we have inspired you
Ok Joanna i was emotional already today but this has just shown me why i work so hard and why i was brought to a woman like you, I cant give money just now as you know I am not quite there yet (working on it) but I have shared this over my social media sites and I hope this helps you get some funds towards this work that is being done. I will be by your side as soon as I raise my own family.x
from one change maker to another
well done angel
is this your first time in a third world country?
Hi Joanna,
I’m really touched that you’re out there and making a difference at the hard end of life. I’ll be making a donation soon and I’m looking forward to some more updates. I was supposed to be in Bangladesh myself in mid-October but it’s all fallen through at the last minute. Oh well, what will be will be. There’s a good reason behind everything. However, I’m glad you’re there. Enjoy every valuable moment and look forward to hearing more about your experience. Regards Vince
Thank you so much Vince!
